I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I work on a project focused on developing pipelines and analyzing the dynamics of elites within authoritarian regimes. I received Ph.D. in political science from the University of Iowa in 2023.
I study the intersection of politics and news media to better understand political communication, social movements, authoritarianism, democratization, and pandemic politics. My research uses innovative methodologies such as text as data and image as data.
